Live Client ID :

Live Client Secret :
Client ID and Secret are the only two required fields. For a live account you can find their values by logging in to your PayPal account and clicking on https://www.paypal.com/commercesetup/APICredentials

Live Webhook ID :
Leave this value blank and it will be automatically filled in when you make your first transaction. It allows PayPal to update the order status on Virtuemart. Note this requires a secure HTTPS server. Non secure or localhost servers will not work.


Sandbox Client ID :

Sandbox Client Secret :

Sandbox Webhook ID :

This show you now to get a Sandbox account with a Client ID and Secret for testing. As with the live account the Sandbox Webhook ID is filled in automatically.

Show Advanced Credit Card Fields
Shows credit card fields without PayPal or PayPal branding. Also takes one less click on checkout. Advanced credit card fields require an account upgrade to "Advanced Integration" from PayPal. At present they are only available in Australia, Canada
France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United States and United Kingdom.




How to upgrade to an Advanced Account.
Log in to your PayPal account
 
click on "App Center" and "PayPal Checkout".

Scroll down the page until you come to "Advanced Integration and click on "Apply Now"




Enable PayLater
Enables PayPal's pay later payment methods. Which method uses depends which country the customers and merchant are from. For example the UK has Pay in 3.

Position of Payment Buttons
Place the payment buttons at the top or bottom of the page.

Buyer Country - For Testing in Sandbox
Changes the payment method shown to that of the country selected when using sandbox or test mode. In the live mode the payments methods shown depend of a combination of which country the merchant is from, the customers address and the geolocation of their IP address.
